OUR MISSION
Don’t follow the crowd, let the crowd follow you.” — Margaret Thatcher
About WildHer Unlimited
Hi, I’m Isabel Banks, a firefighter with the Houston Fire Department—and the founder of WildHer Unlimited.
WildHer Unlimited was born out of both personal experience and deep frustration. As a firefighter, I saw firsthand how limited and uncomfortable maternity uniform options were for women—not just in fire service, but in law enforcement, EMS, and other physically demanding, male-dominated professions.
When close friends and colleagues began struggling with their uniforms during pregnancy, I knew there had to be a better way. I couldn’t ignore the gap any longer.
In July 2024, I partnered with an all-female design and development team to create a maternity and postpartum uniform pant that is not only supportive and comfortable—but also professional, regulation-compliant, and thoughtfully designed for active women in uniform.
A design that allows shirt-tucking and belt use, including duty belts
A waistband that supports a growing belly
Durable materials that hold up to the demands of service work.
A style that honors the pride of wearing the uniform—while supporting the reality of motherhood
We focused on solving real problems:

The result was so promising that I’ve applied for a patent on the design, and we’re now entering the manufacturing stage.
At WildHer Unlimited, our mission is simple: To support women in uniform through every stage of motherhood—without asking them to compromise comfort, performance, or professionalism.
If you’re in the fire service, law enforcement, EMS, or any other field where maternity gear has been an afterthought—I’d love to connect and show you what we’ve built.
Because every woman deserves gear that works as hard as she does.
